PEACE AND SERENITY BRODIE TAKING A MOMENT TO HIMSELF WATERING THE HEDGE FOR MUM Well we are well on the way of getting our outdoor room complete. I LOVE, love, love it. Actually we all do. It's so breezy and fresh and did I mention RELAXING. Of course we still have to get it rendered and painted and put the tiles up behind the hot plate but it is usable. I look forward to many days of sitting out having family meals. Don't know if I'm ready for the age when my boys bring all their mates there. I mean it could end up being a lot of boys............. No only joking. I look forward to them having their mates over watching a DVD. (they especially love the surround sound speakers we have in the roof ??? ) I wish I could put a limit on the volume control !!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a peaceful sight the other afternoon looking out from my kitchen window seeing all the boys lazing about in lounge chairs with pillows and blankets while glued to a movie. That's what I wanted this room to bring ......... Joy. Another area I'm loving in our yard at the moment is the tree house that Corey built. I love it when the willows are blowing around and so do the boys. Finally my garden is beginning to take shape.

Hi Kirsten. Thanks for the compliment on my blog the other day, I am getting back into it after a short break. It is fun learning how to make it nice and finding inspiration in what is around. Love the photo of your boys they are so gorgeous! It seems as though you have had some hard times but, that you deal beautifully with it. Afterall our kids are our kids and we would not have them any other way.
The photos of your outdoor room look great!

Hi Kristen,

What a small world we live in, I'm Emma, Vikki's friend from school. My Cooper goes to school with her Jahvon.

Welcome to the world of blogging, I discovered it through Sheye too and I'm also still getting the hang of it. It's a great way to vent your feelings and also give you something to do when you can't take anymore Foxtel sport of an evening!!

I feel like I know you, as Vik often talks about her girlfriend from home with the 4 boys. Vik's a doll, couldn't find a more honest and lovely person if I tried. She's always offering to help me when I've only got 2 kiddy's and she's the one with her hands full with 4, gorgeous!!

Your boys are divine and it sounds like you've had some hard times with them, they're lucky to have you as their Mum. I can completely understand your longing for a little girl though I was blessed with one of each, I just wish I could have more. I don't feel finished with 2 and feel a constant ache for another bub.

Next time you come down to Melbourne I'll have to see if I can meet you face to face, maybe take all the kids to the park? My poor little Kitty wouldn't know what to do with herself with 9 boys to play with.

Cheers,

Emma

Hi Kristen

Your new outdoor area looks like something you might find when you go away on a summer holiday - peaceful and ohh so relaxing. I can just imagine the family memories that will be created in this new place.

What a prefect tree house for your four boys.

Hello me again,

still laughing at 'bumping into you in blog land'.
Vikki had told me about how wonderful your outdoor furniture is and she's right. It's amazing. Do you think when you get time and if you remember you could let me know who it was from. I'm looking for some for us now but it's just so damn expensive!

Hi emma I got it from Maviblue on ebay. They have a range of wicker products if you type their name into the search. Let me know if you have trouble getting onto them.

Great outdoor areas. I am impressed, and rather green with envy. We are building and renovating, also making an outdoor room, but no where near as flash as that! Looks great!
