10 Things (about me)
- My husband was my partner for my deb ball when we were both 16. We're now 35.
- We actually have a photo of us at kindergarten. He is standing directly behind me. We went to the same primary school but different secondary schools. We only met up when my family shifted to the same street as him and shared a 2 hour trip home from uni. on weekends.
- I am secretly jealous of my girlfriends that have a daughter to share their lives with.
- I am so scared of bringing up four boys once they get into pubs and cars etc. I dread it. I also secretly hope they bring gorgoeus daughter-in laws to our family.
- My boys and I are extemely close with our cuddles and "I love you bigger than the world" 's. It goes a bit overboard sometimes and I wonder whether I'm making them too much of a Mummys boy with all the affection.
- I once "pinched" a pregnancy test for a girl I was working with in the pharmacy as she was so fearful she was pregnant. I went and opened a preg, test kit and she snuck to the toilet to do it. She wasn't pregnant and we didn't pay for it. SCANDAL........
- My best friend and I once took a dare from our boyfriends in the dark of the night. We went skinny dipping in the river. It was pitch black but we didn't count on the local train going past once we had stripped off. As you would imagine the guys nicked off with our clothes. ( we were stupid, young and 18)
- That same best friend of mine went on to marry my husbands best mate and now they have 4 sons like us, same age as ours and both of our 4 th boys have a hand deformity ( both on the right hand). See we were bought together for a reason.
- I eat too much , could live on pasta and chocolate and keep thinking that I need to change my lifestyle more. This is the year !!!!!
- Now that I have only sons I treasure my friendships with my girlfriends ever so much more than I used to.

This is great.
I love that you went to kindy and did your deb together, that's something to tell the grandkids.
It's only natural for a Mum who loves being a Mum to want a girl too. I hope you'll be blessed with 4 amazing daughter in laws who adore you.
No your not making Mummy's boys by being affectionate with them. Your teaching them show their emotions, someday their wives will thank you for it.
And as for that bestfriend of yours, I'm shocked and disgusted......I really think it's hilarious. She just rang while I was writing this and I told her I knew something about her she didn't know I knew! We had a good giggle about your escapades.
Nothing wrong with pasta and choc, chocolate is one of my most important food groups.
Em
And what gorgeous boys you have!
Those daughter in laws will come along before you know it.
What a great list! Thanks for visiting my blog.
That's a great list! I think we've all done stupid things in the past. I'm like you, I smother my kids with affection. It's really cool that you've been with your husband for so long! You guys were ment to be. That's cool about your best friend too. I have a friend with two kids my kids age. I love it!
How fun that best friends married best friends. That is something that little girls only wish would happen. Love the skinny dipping story. Can't believe the boys took off with your clothes. I think boys need lots of cuddles and kisses too. It won't last forever. Got to get as many as we can in now right!
I have no doubt that your boys will bring gorgeous daughter in laws into the family because they have you as an excellent role model to guide them.
I think it's so sweet that you have known your husband for so long. It's truly remarkable that your best friend married your husband's best mate and further more went on to have four boys - amazing!
Cocholate and pasta, the perfect food combination.
This was fun to read. And it's fun to hear the things that are different there from here. Is deb a dance? I love that you have so much in common with your best friend also. You have beautiful boys and I agree, the daughters in law will come soon and you will treasure them even more.
I love how you've know your hubby for so long... so sweet! You are so lucky to have so much in common with your best friend!!! Loved the escapades... you give your boys all the cuddles you want!!!! you will not make them into mummy's boys, instead they will be caring, sensitive & not scared to show emotion, and there's nothing wrong with that!!! Your daughter in laws are going to be blessed to have you as their MIL!! Pasta & chocolate are my absolute favourites... if only they could come up with ones that didn't like to go straight to your hips!!
What a great list of things to know about you ... it made me smile and laugh. Your boys are beautiful - I would lavish them with as many hugs and kisses as they will tolerate while you can! Oh and btw - thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. :)
