Happy Birthday To You (and those pearly white teeth)

Last night after Brodie hastily brushed his teeth we told him to go back and do them properly. I mentioned to him that on the Oprah show (so it's gospel) that you should brush your teeth for as long as it would take you to sing the song Happy Birthday. That was fine, so once we cleared up that you need to brush for about that long he decided he'd go and do them again. Corey and I were in the kitchen when we hear a muffled Happy Birthday to me while brushing his teeth. Next minute Logan started his verse. We laughed so much at what we were hearing. They obviously don't know how to sing in their head yet!!! What a treasure you are Brodie.

Hello,

Love the Birthday song idea. I bought Cooper one of those toothbrushes which plays music as they use it, but it's driving me mental because I can hear it the entire time too.

Heard you might be coming to town next week?? How exciting. We're going to give the Disney on Ice a miss because it would take too much grovelling or payback s*x to get Craig there but would love to do something afterwards. I told Vik if we met in town we could find a hotel that has a kids play area?? Although I get so freaked out from germs I'll make my 2 wear plastic suits!! I want to see Kitty with all of the boys, it will freak her out.

Hope to see you soon...finally,

Em

Just another one of those skills we take for granted. I wonder if that is on any Milestone Lists "Finally has the ability to sing in their own head". I wonder when this skill is acquired.

Sometime I wish I didn't have it when I keep playing the same song in my head for days.

Hehehe what a crackup!

My Dad was a dentist and to this day I've never drank Coke (but I have a million fillings from all the lolly munching I did!)

I agree, they are indeed treasures:)

Hi me again, how's the gastro going??

It freaks me out more than anything else, that and nits!
Anyway, Vik said you were having trouble finding lodgings in the big smoke. Did you try some of the Punt hill apartments?
