Well the boys were all ready to go and watch Chayse and Brodie run in the schools cross country when 10 minutes before we were due to leave it started raining.
Taking into account that we are in the middle of a long drought they were very excited, especially Parker as I don't think he's seen rain before.
"It's naining, it's naining" he says in his squeaking high pitched voice while giggling.
They rushed and got their rain coats and beanies and ran outside.
Unfortunately there wasn't enough for them to play in and it turned bitterly cold.
Hence the cross country was cancelled, much to Brodies dismay. He's so looking forward to it.

It is in the 50's and raining here in Utah where we are visiting our kids and in Cali too. It was 103 in CA last weekend and 57 today with rain and hail. What's up with that???? It isn't global warming.
How are you doing? Have you made a decision about Logan's school yet? I've been concerned about you. You are still in my thoughts and prayers.
kristen,
how long has it been since you've had rain??? what's amazing to me is it's the first time parker has ever seen it. i bet he was TOTALLY excited:D unlike poor brodie:[
i hope you all have a good weekend, and stay warm!!!
love and hugs,
dani xx
Why in the middle of our Aussie drought does it seem like it only rains when there is some outdoor event planned??
But, any rain is welcome rain. It doesn't sound like you received a lot, I hope some made it's way to the dams.
Love
Elise
